Reflections
Psalm 34:8 KJV O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.
In the above verse, the Psalmist David challenges us to test for ourselves the goodness of the Lord. It reinforces the belief that there is no greater witness than that of personal experience. This walk of faith is personal. It is impacted by the things we encounter daily or learn along the way of life. Everyone’s spiritual path and level of maturity is different, but they should all be built upon the same biblical foundational truths. Taste and Sea Reflections is an inside look at my thoughts as I reflect upon scripture through the lens of biblical hospitality and the mindset of a servant. As we explore together the culture and characteristics of biblical hospitality and servanthood, we will take a less traveled path to discovering more about who we are and who God is. It will have the feel of a traveler’s devotion, but it is not an imposition of doctrine. It is an opportunity to foster personal growth. My hope is that my quiet moments of introspection would encourage you to develop your relationship with The Lord and deepen your intimacy with Him. For it is through intimacy with The Most High God where you will find those personal experiences that will strengthen you and stretch you in ways you cannot imagine. Though our paths may be different, we are each on a journey, moving towards a place of eternity. I pray these reflections will help you to develop the culture of your home and reflect the character of your Creator.
